Breaking News and Updates....
On October 16th,
We welcome Dr. J.L. Rivera to our staff as our newest addition to the Logos family. Dr. Rivera comes to us after serving as a pastor for the past 30 years. He also has 17 years of Bible college teaching experience. He is no stranger to Logos as he is also a trustee of Logos Christian College and Graduate Schools.
Over the years many of you reading this blog have received your ministry training through Logos Christian College and Graduate Schools. It has been our privilege to serve you, your home church and the greater Kingdom of God.
From now until November 30, Logos is offering a $250.00 tuition scholarship to anyone enrolling for the first time or anyone that has already completed a degree program and wishes to pursue another one. (1943)In fact, we will even do your evaluation free as well, another $20.00 value. Our mission is to build a bridge from where you are to where you want to be in the purpose and plan of God.
Your servant,
Dr. Thomson
Dean of Students
Of the 4000 plus students enrolled in the various Logos schools in 30 different countries, over 60% of them would never be able to obtain an education without the scholarships provided by Logos. Orphans are being feed, curriculum produced, churches planted, Bible schools established, prisoners trained, jobs created, and the body of Christ equipped through your wise investments in Logos and I can assure you that the dividends are well worth the investment!
When you read the story of the virtuous woman in Proverbs 31, one cannot help feeling a sense of vicarious pride in her achievements through wise investments, creativity and hard work. Truly a role model for all of us! She would have a hay day on Wall Street if she were alive today, or would she?
When you move in a little closer to this wise investor you will quickly discover her motives and goals were a bit different than many of the modern day market place traders wanting only to ‘get rich quick’ regardless of the cost to others and in many cases focusing only on themselves. Not so with the Proverbs 31 Lady. Her focus was on her family, friends and those less fortunate than herself. Oh yes, she invested to make a profit and took that profit and re-invested for even greater profits and then cheerfully shared the increase with others. Her wise investments produced great dividends for herself and her family.
You will note that she invested in the tangible and intangible. Her tangible investments were in products such as real estate, produce, goods and services, etc. And the intangibles were represented by her family, friends and the poor. Her tangible investments produced tangible returns and her intangible investments produced the blessings and favor of God on all that she touched!!
Having invested in Logos over the years, you know exactly what I mean. While you may not see Logos listed on your investment portfolio showing the percentage of your gain or loss, I can tell you that there is an increase on your investment. Both in heaven and on the earth!
Through your investment in the ministries of Logos around the world the dividends are increasing and even compounding daily.
In order to make your investment grow even more we are doing everything we can to be wise stewards of the trust you have and continue to show in us. That is why I am never embarrassed to share with you new INVESTMENT opportunities in the kingdom work through Logos. We are in need of: resources for better media equipment to produce our on line courses. Funding for additional staff to help serve our students more effectively, donations for our depleted scholarship fund for foreign students and those incarcerated, additional sponsors for our missionaries, orphans, and short term teaching and work teams. I know you know a good investment when you see one, and Logos truly fits the template.
